Aligning for Health thanks you for introducing the Addressing Whole Health in Medicare Advantage Act (H.R. 5746), which would expand access to critically important supplemental benefits for a larger number of Medicare Advantage enrollees who need more robust services to effectively manage their health, including enrollees low-income enrollees and individuals with chronic conditions, at high-risk for hospitalizations, or who require intensive care coordination.

Aligning for Health thanks you for introducing the Healthy Affordable Housing Act (HR 8186), which would direct the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to establish a grant and loan program that provides amounts to eligible entities to use to develop, create, or preserve qualifying affordable dwelling units in neighborhoods that are indicated by the Secretary to have shortages of affordable housing.

Aligning for Health is proud to support the introduction of S. 3847/ H.R. 7481, the Improving Social Determinants of Health Act of 2024, which would authorize the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to create a program to improve health outcomes, reduce health inequities, and improve capacity of public health agencies and community organizations to address social determinants of health. Additionally, this legislation would authorize $100 million annually for the CDC to maintain and grow relevant programs.
